6. If you are changing the print head, loosen the outside screws on the print head assembly
and go to step 7. If you are adjusting the print head, loosen all 4 screws on the print head
assembly and go to step 11.
7. Completely remove the middle screws on the print head assembly.
8. The print head will slide out through the top of the assembly.
Note: If you are replacing a Gulton print Head with a Mitani print head, additional parts may be
needed. Contact your VAR.
9. Insert the new print head.
10. Replace the middle screws, but do not tighten.
11. Put the print head assembly in the print head assembly fixture as shown in Figure 6.10.
12. Set the print head assembly fixture on a flat surface.
13. Tighten all four screws on the print head assembly starting with the outside screws. Torque
to 30 in-lbs.
14. Reinstall the print head assembly into the Transport.
