Available Parts

Removing and Installing the NoseCup Assembly

To remove the nosecup assembly

1 Reach inside the facepiece and, using only your fingers, flex the exterior surface of the nosecup from the two 

voicemitter ducts; the ducts will remain attached to the lens. See picture A in 

Figure 4-1

.

2 Grip the nosecup assembly and pull to remove it from the facepiece. See picture B in 

Figure 4-1

.

To install the nosecup assembly

1 Insert the new or cleaned and dry nosecup assembly into the facepiece with the nosecup valves facing up. You 

must insert the nosecup behind the faceseal (inside the facepiece) away from the wearer.

2 Press the center of the nosecup tube through the hole in the front of the facepiece air deflector. It will seat in the 

air deflector hole. See Picture A in 

Figure 4-2

.

NOTE

Maintenance is limited to removing or installing the nosecup, nosecup inhalation valves, head harness, head 

harness straps, and neck strap.
