DESCRIPTION
Figure 1 illustrates the 3M™ Protecta
®
Viper™ LT Rope Grab Fall Arrester. The Rope Grab is a fall arrest device which is to be
used only with approved vertical anchor lifelines and approved lanyards. Together, the fall arrester, with the vertical lifeline
and lanyard, is intended to be used as part of a personal fall arrest or restraint system.
The Rope Grabs in this Instruction Manual are not designed for use as a direct connector to a tensioned horizontal life line
system.
Figure 10 illustrates components of the Rope Grab. See Table 1 for Component Specifications.
