If you’re using Custom Mode, you may need to modify the
settings heavily in order to reach your desired result. The
recommended temperature windows for the different
PRO+ filaments can be found on page 4.
DO NOT deviate from these recommended
temperature ranges in custom mode.
Step 8: Turning Your Pen Off
Step 9: How to Use the Maintenance Cover
The 3Doodler Pro+ has a removable maintenance cover on
the underside of the pen. When removed, this will give you
access to the drive mechanism. The maintenance cover is
magnetic and can be popped off with a fingernail. If you
have a feeding issue or are removing a short strand, simply
remove the cover, reverse the filament out, and then place
the cover back on. Since it’s magnetic the cover will snap
back in place.
Remove all
Filament
from the pen using the
Reverse
feature. Don’t
forget to snip those ends!
Move the
ON/OFF Switch
to
OFF
.
Allow your
3Doodler PRO+
to cool
completely before storing.

SECTION 3: TIPS AND BEST
PRACTICES
Pay Attention to Filament Types & Settings
• For optimal Doodling, we suggest only using the correct
temperature settings for the
3Doodler PRO+ Filaments .
• Double check which type of
Filament
you are using before
you turn on the
3Doodler PRO+
and insert a strand .
Always Snip Your Filament Strand Ends
After removing any
Strand
from the
3Doodler PRO+
,
cut and remove the partially melted
Filament
at the end
of your
Strand
before
reinserting it. This will
reduce blockages and
clogging issues.
Reverse and
Remove Filament
Correctly
Do not pull any
Strand
from the back of the
3Doodler
PRO+
other than as directed. See page 8 for full
instructions.
Take a Break
Give your
3Doodler PRO+
a 30 minute rest after every 2
hours of continuous Doodling.
Sleep Mode
After 15 minutes of inactivity, the
3Doodler PRO+ pen’s
heating system will automatically power down. You will
need to press the
Feed Button
or turn the
Power Switch
off
and then on again to continue use.
Treat Your Nozzle Right
In order to prevent breaking your 3Doodler PRO+
pen, ONLY remove and replace the nozzle when the
pen is turned on and fully heated up. When replacing
the Nozzle, take care not to overtighten.
