Before you run a build, be sure you do everything
required on the
Pre-Build Checklist on page 70.
When you’re ready to start, do the following:

Click the Build button on the Sinter
application Main mode toolbar.
The Build Parts and the Build Viewer
windows appear
Live, actual values oxygen level and
temperature values are shown in the
Build
Parts window. However, the setpoints used
in the previous build remain until you click
Start Build , after which Sinter updates the
setpoints.

If any of the temperature labels are dim,
they will not be controlled during the
build. Although setpoints will not be
updated, you will see actual values.

Click the Start Build button.
If the last build was not completed, the
system asks you if you want to restart it.
See Restarting a Terminated Build on page 82 if
you need to do this.

When the file Open dialog appears, choose a
the build packet file you want to build.
If you are not using the default material, you
will have to confirm the material choice
before you the build begins.
Build Log File Archiving at Start of Build
When you start a new build, the Sinter
application automatically:

Renames States.blog , the most recent build
log file, for archiving. The archived build log
file name matches the time stamp of its first
entry.
`
Opens a new States.blog file to log the new
build information. This is the only file deleted
if you choose to automatically delete the logs
when the system prompts you on exiting the
Sinter application.
