The ignition shown in the photo is mounted on thick heavy duty stick-on Velcro for vibration isolation and
security.   You should not simply strap the ignition box to the wood as the engine vibration can cause
failure quickly if they are not mounted “softly”.

Here is a bottom view on the left and a top view on the right showing the installation of a throttle servo
inside the motor box.

Use quality hardware for the throttle linkage and use a quality throttle servo.  A full-size servo such as a
Hitec 7955 is recommended for durability and proper centering.  It is important to use a good quality servo
that centers well to establish a consistent and reliable idle.  When setting up a throttle servo as in the right
hand photo, notice that the servo arm is centered when the throttle is at its middle position.  Choose a
servo arm with a length similar to the arm on your carburetor so there will be equal angular travel for the
servo as the throttle shaft.   You want to be able to achieve a linear relationship between throttle servo
movement and the angular movement of the throttle shaft.
