and deletes a character. To delete more than one 
character, press the key once for each character.

Check carefully before using the Control keys. If you 
are using Telnet or a terminal emulation program you 
may find that some Control keys do not work the 
same or that they control other functions. Refer to 
the documentation that accompanies your Telnet or 
terminal emulation software.

Default Users

The resident management console allows three 
default user types. They cannot be deleted or altered 
by the network administrator. Refer to Table 4-1 for 
default names and passwords. Refer to Appendix B 
for a listing of screen access rights.
