Switches are innovative “in the wall” devices
providing a unique, cost-saving way to expand LAN connectivity
in almost any network environment. The switches replace a
one-port LAN wall outlet, giving four switched Fast Ethernet
ports for connections. They are ideal for expanding LAN port
capacity in small-office or enterprise businesses, government offices,
classrooms, public kiosks, and shared office spaces – particularly
suitable for older or hard-to-wire structures.
IntelliJack Switches are available in designs for both US-style and
European/UK style data outlets for easy deployment in any
networking environment. The upgrade from single port Ethernet
outlet to four auto-sensing 10/100 switched ports is fast and easy,
requiring no new cabling. The IntelliJack Switches NJ225 and
NJ220 are managed four port switches with advanced capabilities such
as VLANs and traffic prioritization. The IntelliJack Switch NJ105 and
Network Jacks NJ100 and NJ90 are unmanaged switches for greater
economy.
