Artisoft LANtastic 6.0
To install the 3Com NDIS driver (ELPC3.DOS) for Artisoft
LANtastic 6.0, follow these steps. You can install the driver
from either the DOS prompt or Windows.
Installing from the DOS Prompt

Insert Artisoft’s LANtastic Disk 1 in the diskette drive.

Type:
INSTALL
This launches Windows and starts the installation of LANtastic.

Go to step 4 under the “Installing from Windows”
procedure and continue with the remaining steps.
Installing from Windows

Launch Windows, if it is not already opened.

Select
Run
from the
File
menu.

Type:
A:\INSTALL
If you are using a different drive, use the letter for that drive.

Follow the instructions and enter the PC name and
configuration information.

Select
NDIS Support for Network Adapters
in the Select
Network Adapter window.

When prompted, remove the LANtastic diskette, insert
the
EtherDisk
diskette provided with the 3C589C PC Card,
and press [Enter].
The NDIS driver is copied to your hard drive.

When prompted, reinsert the LANtastic Disk 1 in the drive.

If you are not using Card Services and you are using a
memory manager, you must exclude the CIS memory
