Here’s how to set up your Ellie Universal L-Bracket for use:
1 - Base plate – can be used on its own
2 - Vertical Aspect with gap for improved
cable access
3 - Extender bars to create the optimal
base length
4 - ¼”-20 stainless steel mounting screw
5 – Dual ended mini tool with Allen keys
Base plate (1) can be used as a long Arca-Swiss
quick release plate on its own. Sloped Edge
should be at the back of the camera, with the
rubber pads against the bottom of the camera.
Strap attachment slot to the side of the camera
nearest the hand grip.
Fit the stainless steel mounting screw
(4) into one of the two slots in the base
plate. Select the optimum position to
allow access to the battery or memory
card compartment where possible.
To add the vertical aspect (2), use the
mini tool (5) to loosen the two hex screws
in base of Ellie.
Choose the best position for the space in the
vertical aspect, considering the ports in the side
of the camera.
Pass the extender bars (3) through the holes in
the base of the vertical aspect and screw into
place.
