SAFETY MEASURES
Make sure that the device, power adapter and cable are not mechanically damaged.
Use the device only for its intended purpose, in accordance with the user manual.
The device is intended for use in a dry, clean and well-ventilated area with normal
humidity level, away from heat sources. Do not use the device outdoors or in areas
with high humidity. Do not place any foreign objects on the device.
Do not open the case of the device! Before cleaning the device from dirt and dust,
disconnect it from PC. Do not use liquid/aerosol or magnetic cleaners. Avoid moisture
getting into the device and power adapter.
2E POWERLINK NETWORK ADAPTER
Complies with IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3X standards and
is designed to physically connect a personal computer (PC) or laptop to a wired
Ethernet (Internet) network in case they do not have a built-in network card with an
RJ45 port.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- signal encoding and decoding;
- detection of conflict situations and control of the network status;
- coordination of data transfer rates between PC and wired network.
FEATURES:
- Auto MDIX (automatic detection of cable type);
- Plug & Play technology (does not require additional settings).
CONNECTION
The network adapter supports Plug&Play technology, so the adapter is connected and
configured in the operating system (OS) of the PC/laptop automatically without user
intervention.
Select a compatible* USB port on your PC/laptop, connect the adapter as shown in
the connection diagram, and wait a few seconds for the adapter to be ready to use.
Note:
Plug & Play technology is not supported on some operating systems, so if you
see a help page after installing the adapter, just click on it to install the driver. You can
also download the driver from the official website www.2e.ua.
