APPENDIX B: USING THE USB CONNECTION

Determine the connection port

After installation is complete, determine which COM port the connection is
using. This can be done by the following procedure.

1. If using Windows (XP, Vista, 7), go to the control panel and select

“System”.

2. Click on the “Hardware” tab.

3. Click the “Device Manager” button.
4. Press the “+” sign next to “Ports”.
