MAINTENANCE
Repair or maintenance of the device can be carried out only
by experts appointed by 2045Tech S.r.l. Only original parts
may be used for repair. The device contains no part that

will void the warranty. It is required for the user to respect
the intervals, and maintenance methods discussed later in
this manual.

INSTALLING/REPLACING THE MOUTHPIECE
The device is provided with a mouthpiece, already installed. To replace it, temporarily or permanently, you can simply rotate it
180 degrees, and pull it vertically, until detachment. The new mouthpiece can be installed by simply pushing it onto the
protruded part the previous mouthpiece was attached to.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE SUBJECT TAKING THE TEST
It is essential for the accuracy of the measurement that the subject has not ingested alcoholic beverages for at least 20
minutes prior to the test. Residual presence of alcohol in the mouth can affect the measurement, it is therefore necessary to
rinse with water. Ingesting aromatic drinks such as fruit juices, although not alcoholic, can affect the measurement if ingested

1. Turn the mouthpiece and extend the 3.5mm jack from the device

2. The service is very straightforward: a recalibration voucher will be generated, which will have printed on it the address of the
nearest recalibration facility, and a unique code (which will be sent to you by e-mail)

STORAGE
The device must be kept in an environment, which is compatible with its characteristics. It can be stored without being used for
up to 10 years, but this would compromise the performance of the sensor, that is no longer guaranteed at that point.
CLEANING
The device should never be submerged in liquids. The mouthpiece is the only washable part. It can be cleaned only with neutral
soap, and has to be reinstalled only once completely dry.
