Requirements:
Note: This is FULL MainSystem Software update via USB drive (MCU/ OS/ APP)
USB stick with at least 2 GB memory.
A Windows based PC or notebook to prepare the USB.
Please use USB-1 (USB Port 1) for the software update.
Note: The USB stick must be formatted to FAT32 before use (right-click on the USB drive in the Win Explorer
choose “Format”
select FAT 32
start).
Installation of MainSystem Software Update via USB drive:
1.
Download the software update package „Z-N326_FEU_SW_v171213.exe”.
2.
The software package is a self-unzipping executable. Start extraction with a double-click and select your
USB stick as target for the uncompressed files.
3.
You obtain four files called [ATC8317.bin]
– [ATC8317.ini] – [hkApp.bin] – [MCU.bin] in the root
directory of the USB stick.
4.
Connect the USB stick to your powered ON naviceiver at USB Port-1 (
USB-1
).
5.
Enter the n
aviceiver setup. Tap on “Setup”
”Software Update”
“YES”.
6.
Your system will be updated the new software in a step-by-step process. The complete update
procedure takes approx. 2~4 minutes. A status bar shows the update progress.
7.
Remove the USB stick if naviceiver show the message
„APP Update successfully installed. Please
reboot the system„!
8.
Please restart your ZENEC naviceiver by ACC Power OFF
ON or by press the RESET button.
9.
The device reboots and the ZENEC bootlogo is displayed for 30 ~ 50 seconds, then the device
automatically switches to the TUNER source and is ready for operation again.
10. Please do a versions check.
Version checking:
After completion of the software update, version checking is crucial to validate full success. If the installed
software version differs with listed versions below, a full re-installation of the entire software update is
required.

To check the Main Software Version, enter the n
aviceiver setup. Tap on “Device Setup”

Notes:
Do not operate or turn off while device is performing a software update.
Don`t use USB-Port 2 (USB-2) for any MainSystem Updates. USB-2 don`t support software updates.
