How WhereSafe and your MiniMax Tracker Work
1.
With the WhereSafe GPS Tracking service plan, the MiniMax updates every 5 minutes when moving. It goes into standby mode when
no movement is detected.
2.
The battery has a standby time of approximately 20 days. It is rechargeable using the included USB Type-C cable (it can be used
alone or with the included wall charger).

During charging, the PWR LED flashes fast. When the battery is fully charged, the PWR LED will be on solid. Charging time is
approximately 3.5 hours.

The power button is located on the top of the device.
a.
To turn on the MiniMax: Press and hold down the Power button for approximately 3 seconds and release. The PWR LED
will also turn on.
b.
To turn off the MiniMax: Press and hold down the Power button for approximately 2 seconds. PWR LED will flash quickly
and turn off. The PWR LED may flash for up to 90 seconds before shutting down (depends on network quality).
5.
The large button on the front of the device forces the device to obtain a new location and report. Hold the button down until you
feel a vibration, at which point the device is updating its location.
6.
Once you have created your account and activated your device, login to the WhereSafe app (download for free from the App Store
or Google Play Store) and go to Account Settings. You can change your email, phone number and notification delivery type (Email,
SMS/Push) from here.
7.
Setup your preferred notifications from Account Settings in the WhereSafe App:

Choose your city and get notified when the device enters or leaves that area.
