Using a screw (not included) and the mounting notch on the back of the unit,
mount the timer to a surface (i.e. wall) in a vertical position with the receptacle
facing downwards.

Plug the timer into a grounded outlet.

This timer uses a photoelectric sensor to determine when the surrounding area
is dark (i.e. dusk - night) or light (i.e. dawn - daytime). Rotate the circular knob
to select when the plugged in lamp or appliance will turn ON and OFF:
DUSK TO DAWN
- Turns ON at dusk and OFF at dawn.
8 Hrs - Turns ON at dusk, OFF 8 hours later.
6 Hrs - Turns ON at dusk, OFF 6 hours later.
4 Hrs - Turns ON at dusk, OFF 4 hours later.
2 Hrs - Turns ON at dusk, OFF 2 hours later.
ON
- Overrides the timer and allows you to manually turn ON the lamp.
The lamp will remain ON until you rotate the knob to another setting.
OFF
- Overrides the timer and allows you to manually turn OFF the amp.
The lamp will remain OFF until you rotate the knob to another setting.
4.
Plug the lamp into the timer. Total wattage should not exceed 1,000 watts.

To change the setting rotate the knob to the desired setting

WARNING:
Timer must be mounted in a vertical position with outlets facing downward
and at least 55" (1,4 m) above ground level.
Do not use with an extension cord.
When used outdoors, plug timer into only a GFCI protected receptacle. Receptacle
should be mounted in an approved “weather proof while in use” type outlet box.
Plug timer directly into outlet, and fully insert plug.
Laying timer on wet ground or snow can cause malfunctions.
Suitable for damp locations. Not for water immersion or for use where directly
exposed to water.
Not for permanent installation. Do not install or use this product for more than
a 90-day period.
Wattage of lamp must not exceed 1,000 watts.
Do not use to control appliances that contain heating elements (i.e. cooking appliances,
heaters, irons, etc.)
Do not open. No user serviceable parts are inside. Refer servicing to qualified
service personnel.
Unplug timer before cleaning.
Keep children away.
