Installation
Connect to Internet and install Skype (ver. 1.0.0.106 or later) before use.

Download and install Skype

Install software; Follow on screen instructions to finish

Select “Allow this program to use Skype”

Connect telephone and telephone line
This is loop through connection, so you can use the telephone as usual.

Restart system when prompt

Adjust volume/media used to call

Double click SkypeMate icon on taskbar

Drag the volume of the speaker or microphone to desired level
Select desired media from the list (

Make a speed-dial
Assure USB is selected! (USB LED on)
Callers must be on each other’s Skype list.
Repeat 10-11 for convenience but use different numbers for different contacts

Open Skype and select a contact
Right click on the contact and select “Assign Speed-Dial”

Assign a number, for example ‘21’

Press 21 then ‘#’ to call the contact
