Installation Instructions

Note:

 Determine the left, right, front, and rear sides of the machine while seated in the normal operating position.

Note:

 A 5/8 inch crow foot wrench with a 9 inch or longer ratchet extension or equivalent tools are recommended for the

installation of this kit.

Read before installing the kit.

Preparing the Machine

1.

Position the sprayer on a level surface, set the parking

brake, stop the pump, stop the engine, and remove the

ignition key.

2.

Empty the contents of the tank. Refer to the 

Operator’s

Manual

 for more information.

Chemicals are hazardous and can cause personal
injury.

Read the directions on the chemical labels

before handling the chemicals and follow all

manufacturer recommendations and

precautions.

Keep chemicals away from your skin. Should

contact occur, wash the affected area thoroughly

with soap and clean water.

Wear goggles and any other protective

equipment recommended by the chemical

manufacturer.

Caution

3.

Remove the front agitation hose on the tank to allow

access to drive belt. Use caution to avoid exposure to

residual chemicals in the hose when removing it

(Fig. 1).

Rest the agitation hose above the heat shield while

installing the new belt.

Installing the Belt

1.

Use a 5/8 inch crow foot wrench with a 9 inch extension

or an equivalent to loosen the bolts securing the belt

guides to the engine (Fig. 2).

2.

Rotate the upper belt guide upward to a vertical position

so that it will not interfere with any parts (Fig. 2).
