Instrument Operation 

Install the CR2032 battery provided (“+” should be facing up) and the 
unit will turn on ready to use.  Like a digital watch, TimeStick is always on. 
TimeStick has three modes:  Clock, Timer (Count-Down), and Count-Up 
(works like a stopwatch). 

While a COUNT-UP or COUNT-DOWN function is in operation an indicator will 
flash in other function screens.

Set the Clock 

Values on the timer are displayed in the hr:min:sec format. 
Press MODE until you are in the CLOCK function. 
Press and hold START/STOP until the hours start to flash. 
Adjust hours by pressing the CLEAR button. 
Press START/STOP to save the hours and move onto minutes. 
Adjust minutes by pressing the CLEAR button. 
Press START/STOP to save the minutes and move onto seconds. 
Adjust seconds by pressing the CLEAR button. 
Press START/STOP to save adjustments and exit the edit mode.

Press the 12/24 button to switch between 12 hour and 24 hour clock mode 
(located on back panel).

Set the Timer 

Press MODE until you are in the TIMER function.

With reference to the following examples, set the desired countdown times.

Press CLEAR to clear the display before setting new values  
To set 12 seconds = press 1, 2 
To set 12 minutes = press 1,2,0,0 
To set 12 hours = press 1,2,0,0,0,0 
To set 12 hours, 12 minutes = press 1,2,1,2,0,0 
To set 12 hours, 12 minutes, 12 seconds = press 1,2,1,2,1,2

Start the Count-down Timer 

Press START/STOP to begin the count-down. 
When the timer reaches 00:00:00, the alarm will sound. 
The timer will start to count-up showing the elapsed time since the alarm has 
sounded. Press any button to stop the alarm. 

Memory 

TimeStick will retain the last Timer value entered in memory. While in Timer 
mode, press START/STOP to recall the value. Press CLEAR to clear the 
display. This does not erase the value from memory.

Start the Count-up 

Press MODE until you are in the COUNT-UP function. 
Press CLEAR to clear the display. 
Press START/STOP to begin count-up. 
Press START/STOP at any time to stop count-up.

Extended Alarm Alert 

To help preserve battery life, after one minute of sounding an alarm 
TimeStick will then go silent for 30 seconds, then sound again for 5 seconds.  
It will repeat this until the unit is silenced by a button push.
