USE AND CARE OF YOUR TRIPOD

This product is not a toy and is not intended for use by children. 

• 

Use only with digital cameras weighing less than 16 oz.  

• 

Not intended for use with heavy cameras, camcorders or cameras with long lenses, 
which will be unstable when mounted on this product.   

• 

Maximum load capacity is 16 oz and determined by how the tripod is used. 

• 

Maximum capacity determined by how legs are attached to surface.  

• 

Confirm camera and tripod steadiness before releasing to ensure stability. 

• 

Do not carry or transport the tripod with the camera attached. 

• 

Do not oil or grease any part of the tripod, or use any solvents or thinners to clean 
your tripod.  Use a little mild detergent on a soft, damp cloth and wipe dry with a soft, 
lint-free cloth. 

• 

Do not store or expose your tripod to excessive heat, cold or moisture, or use close to 
any flame or fire.  Store your tripod in a clean, dry place. 

 

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT 

Attach your camera to the tripod using the quick-release standard 1/4” X 20 threaded 
screw.  Be sure to hold your camera securely when adjusting the tripod’s legs and head.  
Make sure that the area to which your tripod will be secured is clean, dry and suitable to 
support the tripod and camera.  

Maximum load capacity of 16 oz.  for this tripod is  

dependent upon surface shape, texture, size and how it is used. 

 

To secure your tripod’s legs to an object, take each leg of the tripod and wrap it around the 
item that you intend to mount, making sure that each of the rubberized rings on the tripod’s 
leg segments makes contact with the object.  

 

You can mount your tripod in any number of ways (see some examples below).  Or, even 
use it as tabletop tripod. 

Never mount the tripod upside-down!

this tripod and your camera’s self-timer to step out from behind the camera and be 
included in your family pictures.  You can also take steady, sharp closeups, great 
low light and nighttime scenics or indoor photos!  Your new tripod’s versatile “take 
anywhere” design and ultra-light weight make it the perfect companion for your digi-
tal camera or camcorder.  You’ll never want to be without it. 

Release Handle 
with rotating lock 

1.  Pull the Release Handle 
outwards and rotate the 
handle clockwise to unlock 
the Quick Release Post 
from the ball head’s Quick 
Release Receptacle. Lift 
the Quick Release Post out. 

2. Once it has been re-
moved from the receptacle, 
screw the Quick Release 
Post into the bottom of your 
camera.  
Then reinstall by mounting 
the post back into the re-
ceptacle. Turn the Release 
Handle counterclockwise 
and then push the Release 
Handle inwards  to secure 
and lock the Quick Release 
Post back in the Quick

3.  To adjust your camera in 
various positions, turn the 
Ball Head Lock Knob coun-
terclockwise.  You can util-
ize the Vertical Cut-out to 
set your camera to a verti-
cal shooting mode. Once 
you have achieved your 
desired position, turn the 
Ball Head Lock Knob clock-
wise until secure.
