Detector’s antenna disk

Detector is equipped with audio-visual indication of metal detection.

Detector is equipped with the switch of sensitivity levels (2 levels), which
are used depending on the purposes of search or examination.

The casing of detector is made of break-resistant plastics.
Detector is able to adjust itself to the environmental conditions.
There is a storage batteries charge level control in the detector.

During 1 second after power switching on LEDs glow, indicating a value
of power voltage: glowing of all LEDs corresponds to a voltage of 6 V,
glowing of one LED - voltage of 4 V; if the voltage is under 4 V, the
detector becomes non-operable, gives 5 single-tonal sound signals and
then switches off.

Detector is protected by the program from durable overloading of

receiving signal. In case of constant LED glowing during 15 seconds,
detector automatically switches off with a characteristic sound.

5. PREPARATION FOR WORK AND OPERATION
WITH THE DETECTOR

1. Open the battery compartment and insert the elements, observing a
polarity, indicated on the casing.
2. Get the detector from large metal objects for more than 50 cm. Switch
on the device by the power button. LED indicator should be on for one
second accompanying with the triple sound signal.

ATTENTION!

Constant LEDs glowing and steady sound signal indicate the presence

of

large metal objects near the detector (see p. 5.2.)

3.

The device is ready to operate.

4.

Red mark at the sensitivity level switch corresponds to the maximal
sensitivity.

5. Recommended speed of scanning by the detector is from 0,5 to 1 m/s.
When operating, place the detector’s antenna parallel to the scanned
object at the distance from 5 to 15 cm.

In order to avoid false alarms, make sure that no large metal

objects are in the examined area in a radius of about 1,5 m, and that there
is no other metal detector (low frequencies generator) working in a radius
of 4 m.
6. Upon operation completion switch off the detector by the same power
button.

Switching off the detector is accompanied by a sound signal, all LEDs
flash and blow out fluently.
If the detector stays operating and no sound or visual alarms occur, it will
automatically switch off in 5 minutes with a characteristic sound.
7. During the operating process short clicks are heard, indicating the
operability of the device. Short clicks’ frequency increases while storage
batteries discharging.

ATTENTION!

It is allowed to use power supply elements of AA type (batteries)

instead of storage batteries.

6. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

1. Complete set of the detector can be transported by any kind of
transport.
2.  Transportation is allowed under  the air temperature from -30

°

С

 to

+50

°

С

and maximal air humidity no more than 98% (temperature

+25

°

С

).

3. Under the sharp change of temperature, keep the detector switched off
and unpacked within one hour.
4. Under long-term storage keep the detector in the case for transportation
and storage.
5. Long-term storage of the detector is allowed in dry heated places at air
temperature from +5

°

С

 to +30

°

С

and maximal air humidity no more

than 80% (tempe25

°

С

).

7.  OPERATION WITH THE CHARGER

1. Switch off the detector.
2. Make sure, that the detector is charged exactly by the storage batteries.
3. Connect the charger connector to the detector’s socket.
4. Connect the charger to the main of 220 V – the LED at the charger’s
block lights up.
6. Switch on the detector.
During the storage batteries charging the LED indicates the charging
process and the batteries’ supply level.
Charging process lasts for 15 hours.

ATTENTION!

To provide maximal period of storage batteries exploitation,

charge only fully discharged storage batteries!

8. HOW TO USE SENSITIVE PROPERTIES OF THE
DEVICE TO THE BEST ADVANTAGE

1. In case of constant glowing of all LEDs, increase the distance between
the detector’s antenna and scanned objects or (and) set the detector to the
lowest sensitivity mode - put the sensitivity level switch to the position
farthest from the detector’s antenna.
2. To increase the detector’s sensitivity decrease the distance between the
detector’s antenna and scanned objects or set the detector to the maximal
sensitivity mode (see p. 5.4.).
