Battery Requirements: 

This product requires 2 AAA standard alkaline batteries. Locate the battery cover on the rear of the thermometer and gently slide 

the cover down to remove it.  Insert 2 AAA alkaline batteries and be sure to observe the correct polarity.  Replace the battery cover. We do NOT recommend 
the use of heavy duty or rechargeable batteries.

Auto Off:

 To conserve battery power, this product will automatically turn off in 5-6 minutes if temperature is lower than 122°F (50°C) with no obvious 

temperature change, or no button activity.

Notes:

a. 

Clean the probe with a damp cloth before each use.

b. 

Do not submerse the unit in water or place in dishwasher. Clean it with a damp cloth only.

c. 

Do not insert the probe into any environment where the temperature is above 572°F (300°C). It may cause damages if it is being used at a 
temperature that is higher than 572°F (300°C). Please remove the unit from the cooking environment if there is a high temperature alarm.

d. 

Do not place the unit in oven, microwave, etc. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the product. Please do not place the unit in an environment that 

is over 572°F (300°C). 

e. 

Allow the unit to cool down, then clean and dry the probe before folding it back into the handle.

f. 

Avoid dropping the unit as it could affect the accuracy and function of unit.

g. 

The normal operation of the product may be disturbed by strong electromagnetic interference. If so, simply reset the product to resume normal 

operation by removing and re-installing the batteries.

Instructions:
Languages selection

 

(English is the default language):

 

Press and hold the “SET” button while installing batteries. There are a total of 7 language-choices. Select the language: 
Press + or – button to select the desired language. If the selected language is EN, the language order is EN, DE, FR, IT, 
ES, SW, and DU. If the selected language is DE, the language order is DE, FR, IT, ES, SW, DU, and EN. To confirm and 
escape the language-selecting mode: Press “SET” button to confirm the selected language and exit.

°C/°F selection: 

 

Slide the  °C/°F switch to select the desired display unit. The selector switch is located inside the battery compartment.

Power On

: Press and hold “

SET

 “ button about 1 second to power on the unit. After powering on, the unit will display the measured 

temperature; the food type and the corresponding recommended cooking temperature (just before last turned off), and the 
unit is in normal mode. Please refer to the figure 1, right. 

Power Off

: Turn off manually: Press and hold the “

SET

” button for 3 seconds.

Battery replacement indication:

 

Please replace the batteries when the low battery icon (              ) displays on the LCD. Batteries: 2 AAA.

Meat type:

 

In the normal mode, press “-“ or “+” button to select the meat type (Please refer to the table below for the meat types). The 

USER setting allows a custom temperature to be programmed for any temperature between 32°F (0°C) to 392°F (200°C) .

Doneness levels: 

 

In the beef, veal, and lamb options, there are 3 doneness levels (Med. Rare /Medium /Well Done) available (Please refer to the table below for 

temperature levels of different doneness levels).

USER defined alarm temperature setting:

 

To enter the USER mode, press the ”SET” button in USER option (alarm temperature blinks). The alarm temperature can be set by pressing “-“ 

or “+” button to the desired setting. After setting the alarm temperature, press the “SET” button again to confirm and exit. The “alarm temperature” 
on LCD will now stop blinking.

Alarm:

 

Once the detected temperature reaches the set alarm temperature, there are four 4-beep audible alerts. The                symbol shows on the 
LCD. If the detected temperature still stays above the alarm temperature, the unit will alert every 30 seconds.

 High temperature alert: 

The unit 

will alarm and the LCD flashes with “

HHH

”  if detected temperature is higher than 392°F (200°C)
