MEGAFLOOD

IMPORTANT

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

The MegaFlood must be wired in accordance with the National
Electrical Code and applicable local codes. Proper grounding
is required to insure personal safety. Carefully observe ground-

ing procedure. The MegaFlood is for outdoor use and should
not be used in areas of limited ventilation or high-ambient
temperatures. All work should be done by a qualified electrician.

WARNING:

Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining fixture.

MOUNTING

The MegaFlood is supplied with a trunnion which can be
mounted directly on a flat surface with the hardware you
provide. Make sure fixture is securely fastened.

Trunnion:

The trunnion mounting method offers

(There are three positioning holes in

the outer yoke and five positioning holes
in the inner yoke). To make a selection,
remove the positioning screw. Loosen
trunnion bolts. Rotate trunnion to
desired angle. Reinsert positioning
screw and tighten.

The MegaFlood is also available with an adjustable Slip
Fitter. 

Slip Fitter

1. Assemble slip fitter and gasket to

housing using hardware provided.

2. Assemble lower fitter onto the upper

fitter after removing splice compart-
ment cover.

3. Slip lower fitter over tenon and

securely tighten two allen head set
screws. The lower fitter is designed
to slip over 2

" o.d. heavy wall pipe

or tenon.

Fixture should be located at least 18" below any overhang
or other structural detail. 

Fixture should not be recessed.

WIRING

Use supply wire rated for 90˚C. (Slip Fitter only)

1. Connect the line (+) fixture lead to the black supply lead.
2. Connect the common (–) fixture lead to white supply lead.
3. Fixture ground screw must be connected to supply ground.
4. Make sure connections are secure using wire nuts, crimp-on

lugs or other approved connecting devices.
