OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FLAMBÉ BURNER

Capacity: 91 g/hour (1.25 kW) – injector 008505 - Category: direct pressure butane

WARNINGS

Follow the instructions in this schedule and the safety precautions indicated on the Campingaz

®

 cartridges.

Failure to follow these instructions could be dangerous for the user and other people in the vicinities.

Keep this schedule in a safe place in order to consult it whenever necessary.

Only use this burner with Campingaz

®

 CV 270 PLUS / CV 300 PLUS cartridges. It may be dangerous to use it with other gas 

containers. Sambonet Paderno Industrie S.p.A. declines all liability if a different cartridge is used.

Only use this appliance in suf

fi

 ciently ventilated rooms (minimum 3 m

3

/h) and keep it away from 

fl

 ammable materials.

Do not use this appliance if it leaks, works badly or is damaged. Immediately contact the dealer for the name of the nearest 

technical service centre.

Never modify the appliance nor use it for purposes other than the one shown in this schedule.

Do not leave it unattended.

All gas appliances based on the principle of combustion consume oxygen and release the substances generated by combustion. 

Some of these substances may contain carbon monoxide (CO). Carbon monoxide is odourless and colourless and can cause 

illness, with symptoms similar to 

fl

 u, and even death if the appliance is used in unventilated rooms.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not use the Flambé Burner less than 100 cm from a wall or a 

fl

 ammable object.

Place the Flambé burner on a 

fl

 at surface and do not move it when it is in use.

Before using the Flambé burner mounted on the Mini Flambé trolley (code 58875-00 and 57875-00) always make sure the 

wheels are locked.

DISMOUNTING THE FLAMBÉ BURNER

a. Remove the Flambé Burner from its protective packaging.

b. Make sure the gas tap is closed by turning the adjustment knob (1) fully clockwise (

fi

 g. 2).

c. Remove the upper part of the burner (

fi

 g. 3): Brackets (2), Support (3), Spacer (4).

FITTING A CAMPINGAZ

(if an empty cartridge is already in place, read paragraph “REMOVING THE CARTRIDGE”)

 t or remove a cartridge in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors and never in the presence of 

fl

 ames, heat sources 

or sparks (cigarettes, electrical appliances …), away from other people and 

fl

 ammable materials.

As Campingaz

®

 CV 270 PLUS / CV 300 PLUS cartridges are 

fi

 tted with valves, they can be removed from the appliance for ease 

of transport even if they are not empty.

a. Make sure the gas tap is closed by turning the adjustment knob (1) fully clockwise.

b. Grasp the burner assembly (beware: it may be hot!) and gently screw in the cartridge (6) clockwise until you hear a click 

(approximately one sixth of a turn) (

fi

 g. 4). Do not tighten the cartridge beyond this point as this could damage the valve.

c. The appliance is ready for use.

In case of a gas leak (smell of gas before the valve is opened), move the appliance to a well-ventilated area and far 

away from any source of combustion.

REMOUNTING THE FLAMBÉ BURNER

Remount the upper part of the Burner: Brackets (2), Support (3), Spacer (4).

USING THE BURNER

1. Lighting the burner (

fi

 g. 5).

Hold a 

fl

 ame near to the burner (5) and gradually open the gas by turning the knob (1) anti-clockwise.

2. Cooking

Place the Flambé pan in the middle of the burner and adjust the gas so that the 

fl

 ame does not exceed the size of the pan.

Only use Sambonet pans code 56163-27, 56163-30 and code 57163-27, 57163-30.

3. Turning off the burner

After cooking, close the gas by turning the knob (1) fully clockwise (

fi

 g. 2).

REMOVING THE CARTRIDGE

The cartridge can be removed even if it is not empty. Replace the cartridge outdoors and away from other people.

a. Wait for the burner (5) to cool down.

b. Make sure the gas tap is closed by turning the adjustment knob (1) fully clockwise (

fi

 g. 2).

c. Grasp the burner assembly (beware: it may be hot!), gently unscrew the cartridge anti-clockwise (approximately one sixth of 

a turn) and remove it (

fi

 g. 6).

STORAGE AND OPERATING FAULTS

When the burner is perfectly cold:

a. remove the cylinder as indicated in “REMOVING THE CARTRIDGE”.

b. Store the appliance and the cartridge in a cool, dry and ventilated place and out of reach of children.

c. If the injector is clogged (the cartridge still contains gas but the appliance does not light), do not attempt to open it, but 

immediately contact the dealer for the name of the nearest technical service centre.

This burner complies with the relative EC standard (PIN 1312BU5296).
