Calibration Guide
PREPARATION
The Navigator Balance has two calibration processes: Span and Linearity.
Follow the prompts for calibration mass values.
Note
: This menu may be locked, either for security or for Legal for Trade applications. To regain
access, see Instruction Manual, Section 4.6. (For more detail, see Service Manual, Section 1.7.)
Ensure that the balance is level, stable, and
undisturbed
during calibration.
(Otherwise the process could fail.)
Allow balance to warm up for five minutes after stabilizing to room temperature.
Use suitable calibration masses (available from Ohaus).
Before beginning Calibration, be sure the
“lock switch” is off.
(See note above.)
After calibration, the balance returns to weigh mode.
