Water Filtration System

User’s Guide

1.  Remove all contents of the PITCHER, Filter Media Housing

and Filter Media Packet from the packaging.

2.  Please wash the PITCHER and all the PITCHER parts with mild

soap and warm water.  Do not use abrasive cleaners. Oasis
does not recommend washing the PITCHER in a dishwasher
as the high temperatures will reduce the clarity of the plastic
material over prolonged washing.

3.  Remove top of Filter Media Housing as shown. Open one

corner of the Filter Media Packet marked on the package.

Pour

the entire contents of the package into the Filter Media
Housing.

It is normal for the Filter Media to be wet. Lightly tap

the Filter Media Housing on the counter to get the Filter Media
to settle. Snap the top back onto the Filter Media Housing.

4.

Soak the Filter Media Housing upright in water for
10 minutes.

Place under a stream of water and rinse the

housing under running water for 10 seconds. This process
allows excess carbon dust to be released.

5.

Press the Filter Media Housing firmly down into the
Reservoir Tube

to ensure a tight seal.

6.  Attach the Lid. Fill the Reservoir with water. Allow all the water

to filter through, and then discard it.

Do this twice. The third

pitcher of filtered water is ready for drinking.

Refer to   3   Filter Life Indicator.

instructions for set up of the

Filter Life Indicator to help ensure cleaner, fresher water.

1.  Press and hold START for 3 seconds.

“00” will be displayed.

2.  Press the START key for 1 second. A count

of 160 will be displayed on the screen
and the counter will now be in the working
status mode.

3.  Once the counter is in the working status

mode, the counter will count down by one
each time the fill lid is opened.

If the fill lid is unintentionally opened,
then you can correct the count by pressing
the ”+” key to return the counter to the
proper value. The counter will count
down only when the fill lid is left open for
approximately 7 seconds. Rapid opening
and closing of the fill lid will not lower
the count.

For Best Results:

Keep the filter moist by maintaining the water level in the PITCHER
above the bottom of the Reservoir Tube. Store the PITCHER in the
refrigerator or in a cool location. If the water has been sitting for
several days, discard it and refill the PITCHER with fresh water.

Claims are based on testing performed under standard laboratory conditions according to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 for reduction of the substances listed.
The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the systems was reduced to a concentration less than or equal to the permissible limit
for water leaving the system, as specified in NSF/ANSI 42 and 53. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water treatment
device are not necessarily in all users' water. The performance of the filter may vary based on local water conditions.
Do not use with water that is unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Individuals requiring water of
specific microbiological purity should consult their physician.
The Oasis Pitcher Filter processes approximately 42 gallons/160 liters of water. For optimal performance, replace the filter when it exceeds filtering
capacity. Refer to the Use and Care portion of this manual for proper unit operation and maintenance requirements.
Hot water should not be used with the Oasis PITCHER Filter (Maximum 82°F/28°C - Minimum 34°F/2°C).
