User’s instructions
The PFS Tel 1 GE was designed to give a protection against overloads, voltage peaks, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI).
It protects your electronic and/or computer appliances from damages caused by accidental overvoltages, voltage peaks and lightning. A reset circuit breaker protects against overloads
and blowouts. It also protects your phone/fax/modem equipment.

Security
Please read all these instructions before installing the PFS Tel 1 GE . It must be installed only inside a protected location in which the temperature and humidity do not exceed the
limits defined in the technical characteristics section.

Installation
Plug the PFS Tel 1 GE into a connector with earth (2P+E – 10 A). Plug your equipment to be protected into the protected outlet.
If the red «Protected» light, on the protection device, is off, do not use the PFS Tel 1 GE.
1. Protected outlet
The protected outlet is used to connect equipment such as a tel/fax/modem, PC, printer, monitor, scanner or technical household appliance.
2. Active surge protection Led
Red led “Protected” turns on: the protection is effective
Red led “Protected” is off: the protection is not effective.
3. Tel/Fax/Modem protection
The PFS Tel 1 GE is equipped with protection against overvoltages on the telephone/fax/modem line (1 RJ11 ''IN'' con 1 RJ11 ''OUT'' connectors - 6P4C). Use the supplied
cable to connect the line input to the ''IN'' connector and then connect the ''OUT'' connector to your telephone/fax/modem device.
In case of problem, do not disassemble the PFS Tel 1 GE. There are no reparable parts inside it. lease call the Hot Line.

Die Steckerleiste darf nur in Innenbereichen in einer geschützten Umgebung installiert werden, wo Raumtemperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit nicht die Grenzen überschreiten, die im
Einzelnen unter den technischen Angaben angegeben sind.

Installation
Schließen Sie das PFS Tel 1 GE an eine geerdete Netzsteckdose (2P+E – 10 A) an. Schließen Sie das zu schützende Gerät an der geschützten Ausgangssteckdose an.
Verwenden Sie das PFS Tel 1 GE nicht, wenn die rote LED „Protected“ aus ist.
1. Geschützte Ausgangssteckdose
Die geschützte Ausgangssteckdose dient zum Anschluss von Geräten wie Telefon/Fax/Modem, PC, Drucker, Monitor, Scanner oder technische Haushaltsgeräte.
2. Überspannungsschutzanzeige
Rote LED „Protected“ leuchtet: Überspannungsschutz aktiviert
Rote LED „Protected“ leuchtet nicht: Überspannungsschutz nicht aktiv
3. Schutz für Telefon/Fax/Modem
Das PFS Tel 1 GE ist mit einer Schutzeinrichtung gegen Überspannungen auf der Telefon/Fax/Modem-Leitung (1 RJ11 „IN“- 1 RJ11 „OUT“-Buchse - 6P4C) ausgerüstet.
Verbinden Sie die „IN“-Buchse mit dem mitgelieferten Kabel mit dem Telefon/Fax/Modem-Anschluss in der Wand und schließen Sie das entsprechende Gerät an der „OUT“-Buchse an.
Sollten Probleme auftauchen, vermeiden Sie es, die PFS Tel 1 GE zu öffnen, denn in ihrem Inneren gibt es keinerlei Teile, die reparierbar wären.
Rufen Sie bitte den technischen Kundendienst an.

La PFS Tel 1 GE a été conçue pour offrir un haut degré de protection contre les surcharges, les pointes de tension.
Elle protège vos ordinateurs, périphériques et appareils hi-fi contre les dommages occasionnés par les pics de tension, la foudre, et les surcharges. Un disjoncteur réarmable protège
contre les surcharges et courts-circuits. Elle protège également vos appareils tel/fax/modem.

Sécurité
Veuillez lire toutes ces instructions avant d'installer la PFS Tel 1 GE.
Elle doit être installée uniquement à l'intérieur dans un endroit protégé où la température et l'humidité n'excèdent pas les limites précisées dans la section des caractéristiques
techniques.

Installation
Branchez la PFS Tel 1 GE à une prise avec mise à la terre (2P+E – 10 A). Branchez votre appareil à protéger sur la prise protégée.
Si le voyant rouge du dispositif de protection « Protected » est éteint, n’utilisez pas la PFS Tel 1 GE .
1. Prise protégée
La prise est utilisée pour le raccordement d’appareils tels qu’un ordinateur, imprimante, moniteur, scanner ou un équipement électroménager.
2. Témoin de protection active
Voyant rouge “Protected” allumé: la protection est efficace.
Voyant rouge “Protected” éteint : la protection est hors service.
3. Protection Tél/Fax/Modem
La PFS Tel 1 GE est équipée d’une protection contre les surtensions pour la ligne tél./fax/modem (1 connecteur RJ11 ''IN'' + 1 connecteur RJ11 ''OUT'' - 6P4C). Utilisez le câble fourni
et branchez l’arrivée de la ligne sur la prise “IN”, puis connectez la prise “OUT” à votre appareil téléphone/fax/modem.
En cas de problème, ne démontez pas la PFS Tel 1 GE, il n'y a pas de pièce à l'intérieur qui puisse être réparée. Appelez le Service Après Vente.
