1.1 GENERAL
Please follow the maintenance
instructions!
1.2 COMMISSIONING
Check that the correct filter element
is fitted, replace cover (only for ELF
5, 52, 7 and 72).

2. CHANGING THE ELEMENT
Air filters ELF 10, 4, 30, 3 and
ELFL 3 must be replaced
completely; it is not possible to
change the element on these filter
types, for technical reasons.
2.1 CHANGING THE ELEMENTS ELF 5, 52
1. Remove the nut and washer
2. Lift up cover
3. Remove element(s)
4. Insert new element(s)
5. Replace cover
6. Apply washer
7. Screw on nut
2.2 CHANGING THE ELEMENTS ELF 7, 72
1. Unscrew cover manually by turning
anticlockwise
2. Remove element(s)
3. Insert new element(s)
4. Screw the cover on again manually
NOTICE:
Contamination or incomplete pressure
release on disassembly can lead to
seizing of the bowl thread.
Filter elements which cannot be cleaned
must be disposed of in accordance with
environmental protection regulations.
