Intent & Scope
This document describes the installation procedure for the DSM-140 Desktop Speaker Microphone
2. Description
The DSM-140 Desktop Speaker Microphone is a desktop unit consisting of a push-to-talk (PTT) switch, speaker
and gooseneck electret microphone. The unit is compatible with either the MAI-125 or MAI-425 Master Audio
Interface and connects via a cable with a DB-9 female connector on the DSM-140 end. The microphone and
speaker pairs are terminated at the MAI with a 4-pin MTA-100 connector. This connector is inserted into the
header labeled SPKR/MIC. The PTT switch pair can be terminated at the MAI in several different locations.
