KEY FEATURES

Jupiter VSD

The Jupiter

 Visual Status Display (VSD)

is a comprehensive status tool that
allows you to view the status of your
routing system in an easy-to-understand
manner. The Jupiter VSD can run on any
PC connected locally, or over LAN or
WAN, as long as it has access to the
routing network through a LAN gateway.
The Jupiter VSD allows you to create
custom views, which can be saved,
recalled, renamed, or deleted by the user
for complete customization. The Jupiter
color coding is continued here and
adheres to the workflow of the Jupiter
hardware and software control panels.

Easy to Use

The Jupiter VSD is easy to install,
configure, and use. The Jupiter VSD is
configured in the Jupiter configurator
in the same way as any of the Jupiter
control panels.
The tabs along the bottom allow for quick
and easy navigation between status
pages for destinations, sources, tie lines,
control boards, and custom pages that
you can define.

VSD display size can also be adjusted
with six preset size choices, or by typing
in the desired percentage up to 999
percent, for viewing status from across
the room, or made smaller for viewing
as much of the routing system as the
monitor will allow.

The Information You Need

The Jupiter VSD offers you a simple,
easy, and effective way to view your
routing environment. With default pages
for destinations, sources, tie lines, and
control boards, the Jupiter VSD will
provide you with the status of your entire
routing system.
The destination page offers all of
the destinations you wish and will
show which source is routed to each
destination and that destination’s status.
If destinations are protected or locked,
the source name will turn from green
to magenta or red respectively, and the
Jupiter VSD will display which panel
owns the function when the cursor is
over the source name.

The source page displays the available
sources as well as the destinations each
source is routed to.
Control board information is listed, so
there is no need to be at the controller to
know their current status of activity.

Customizable

Custom pages can be created to enhance
the usability of the Jupiter VSD.
An operator or engineer might only want
to see a portion of the routing system at
one time. By simply selecting the items
they wish to view and clicking on the
“Create View” button, a custom view
will be created. The view will be given a
default name that can be changed to suit
your needs. Custom views can also be
saved, deleted, closed, and re-opened
when needed.
The Jupiter VSD column widths are also
adjustable with a simple click of one
of three button choices or by standard
column resizing such as those found in
Excel spreadsheets.
