SECTION LAYOUT (UNDERNEATH) 

Using the measurement provided and 

mark, 

pre-drill and screw through the brace into the 

post.

 Ensure the brace is flush to the one face/

edge as shown above. Use the section layout to 

determine the correct brace directions before 

screwing.

Apply the roof.

 Ensure the posts 

are in contact with the faces/

edges of the internal roof battens. 

Screw through the roof battens 

into the posts and braces as 

shown above.

Screw the lean-to to your shed,

 using all the screws 

provided to keep secure. Ensure the roof external roof 

battens on the lean-to are in contact with the shed 

external roof battens. Ensure the roof batterns are 

flush to the shed roof battens.

Screw the fascias to the lean-to

. Ensure it is flush with 

the sheds fascias. Screw through the fascias into the 

roof battens behind.

The 6x4 lean-to will only have 2 posts/braces 

provided.

The 

7x5 lean-to

 will have a central post 

and brace. Use the central roof batten to 

screw it into place. Use the measurement 

provided to put it on the correct side of 

the roof batten.

The 

8x6 lean-to

 will have a central 

post and brace. Use the central roof 

batten to screw it into place. Use the 

measurement provided to put it on 

the correct side of the roof batten.

Determines which side the brace will be 

screwed onto the post.
