A clean dryer vent is the key to maximizing your hair dryer’s 

performance and increasing its overall lifespan. Dryer vents become 

clogged with dust, hair and other products which can decrease 

airflow and cause undue stress on the dryer’s motor. Cleaning your 

dryer vent and filter every week can help prevent unnecessary 

damage to the dryer and keep it performing at its optimal level. 

Directions: 
1.  Unplug the dryer.
2.  Locate the dryer vent cover on the back of the dryer.
3.  Turn vent cover counterclockwise to remove it from the dryer.
4.  Wash the filter cap and the mesh insert under warm water. Set  
  aside to air-dry. 

  * Allow to Air Dry Thoroughly before Dryer Use.

5.  With a damp cloth, thoroughly wipe away all excess dust from 
  the metal filter attached to the dryer. 

  * Allow to Air Dry Thoroughly before Dryer Use. 

6.  Reattach filter cover by turning clockwise to lock it into place. 
7.  Repeat once a week.
