Description
This document includes installation information for the UTC
Fire & Security KMD300 carbon monoxide detector.
The KMD300 is designed for use with the KM300 and KM260
CO detection systems.
The lifespan of the KMD300 detector is five years.
Principle of operation
Detection is based on an electrochemical sensor that improves
the accuracy of the measurement and reduces the
consumption with thermal integrated compensation and control
based on a 16-bit microcontroller.
