the PCB placed in 
front of you as 
shown.

in order.

BEFORE STARTING… 
Ensure the soldering iron tip you are using is 
cleaned  and  well  tinned.  Use  a    flux-cored 
solder  when  soldering.  Clean  it  frequently 
with  a  wet  sponge  and  use  a  soldering  iron 
stand if possible. 
 
Use a soldering iron with a thin tip and use 
thin gauge solder to avoid bridging any 
tracks with solder. 
 
CHECKING COMPONENTS

 

Check through the parts list and note the 
ones that have polarity, as they must be 
inserted the correct way round.
