Before Using Your SKYFUZE LED Balloon Light Please Read All Instructions:

WARNING: When using portable luminaires outdoors, basic safety precautions should 

always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury, including 

the following: 

 

a)

 Use only 120V NEMA 5-15 three-wire outdoor extension cords that have three-

 

prong grounding plugs and grounding receptacles that accept the appliance’s plug.

 

b) 

Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection is to be provided on the 

 

circuit(s) or outlet(s) to be used for the portable luminaire. Receptacles are available 

 having 

built-in GFCI protection and are able to be used for this measure of safety.

 

c) 

Use only with an extension cord for outdoor use, such as an extension cord of

  

cord type SEW, SEOW, SEOOW, SOW, SOOW, STW, STOW, STOOW, SJEW, SJEOW, 

 

SJEOOW, SJW, SJOW, SJOOW, SJTW, SJTOW, or SJTOOW

.

1.0 SAFETY INFORMATION

WARNING – Electrical Shock 

 

• Always disconnect the Light unit from the power source when not in use and 

 

prior to moving, failure to do so may result in electrical shock, injury or death.

 

• The light is rated at IP42 and can be used in damp locations when mounted on

  

the tripod. 

 

• DO NOT touch the light with wet hands to avoid the risk of electrical shock.

 

• ONLY use 120V NEMA 5-15 three-wire outdoor extension cords that have three- 

 

prong grounding plugs and grounding receptacles that accept the appliance’s plug.

WARNING – Weather and Environmental Conditions

 

• DO NOT operate in direct rain or snow.

 

• DO NOT operate when mounted on the tripod in winds that EXCEED 25 MPH, 

 

for use in winds exceeding 15 MPH the tripod must be staked or weighted with 

 

sandbags to anchor to the ground.

 

• Always use in a well-ventilated area.

4.0 WARRANTY INFORMATION

3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The LED Balloon Light and associated parts purchased in the United States from an 

authorized dealer will be warrantied free from manufacturing and material defects for a 

period of three years for leisure and non-commercial applications from the date of 

purchase, subject to exclusions detailed below.
The LED Balloon Light will be warrantied free from manufacturing and material defects for 

a period of one year for rental and commercial applications from the date of purchase, 

subject to exclusions detailed below.
To claim warranty all products must be registered within 90 days of purchase, please retain 

proof of purchase.
The product part number and serial numbers can be found on the side of the fixture, 

please retain these numbers and quote when ordering parts, require assistance or claiming 

warranty
During the Warranty period any authorized dealer will, free of charge repair or replace at 

the manufacturers option any product or part deemed defective due to manufacturing 

workmanship or material defects as supplied.
Any replacement parts will be covered for the balance of the products warranty period
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
• Failures other than defects due to manufacturing workmanship or material defects which   

   are the result of misuse and abuse are not covered by this warranty.
• Failures due to the use of parts that are not genuine approved parts will not be covered 

   by this warranty.
• The Balloon Diffuser is considered a consumable item and as such is not covered by this 

   warranty. 
• Any Modifications or non-approved parts are excluded from the warranty.

• Always Set up the tripod on a flat level 

   surface, ensure the tripod legs are fully     

   extended and the screw knob on the hub 

   slide connecting the legs to the center tube 

   is tightened so the legs do not move.
• Remove the tripod from its carry bag, stand 

   the tripod in its upright position with the   

   legs downward and the light mount  

   receptacle at the top.
• Loosen the bottom knob on the sliding 

   center hub, slightly open the legs and then 

   slide the hub downward until the 3 legs are 

   fully extended, tighten the hub knob to 

   secure the legs in place.
• Mount the light fixture with the tripod 

   mount adapter fitted as per diagram,   

   loosen the light clamp screw at the top of     

   the tripod, insert the mount into the tripod 

   receptacle and tighten the tripod clamp 

   locking screw.
• To extend the tripod, loosen the two knobs 

   that secure the sliding sections, extend one 

   section at a time, once one section is at the 

   desired height, do not extend further than 

   

Loosen the knob on the 

sliding hub and slide 

upwards ensuring the three 

legs fully closed back to the 

storage position, tighten the 

leg hub knob the lock the 

legs in position, when closing 

the legs take care to avoid 

pinching or injuring hands.

Place the tripod in the carry 

bag for safe storage and 

transportation.

Loosen and tighten the 

light clamp to secure 

the light into the tripod.

Loosen and tighten the  

shaft extension screws to 

extend and retract the 

tripod.

Loosen and tighten the  

sliding hub screw to 

extend and retract the 

tripod legs.

3.0 OPERATION

Mount the light securely using one of the mounting accessories:

C-Clamp 

– Locate the C-Clamp onto 

the Base of the light fixture, ensuring 

the anti-turn flange is located in the 

base slot, insert the bolt into the 

screw thread and tighten using the 

included wrench

.

RF Remote Control 

- Used to switch 

the light on/off, pre-set brightness 

settings and continuous dimming from 

10% to 100% brightness.

The C-clamp should only 

be used on a pole with a 

2in outside diameter, 

ensure the intended 

mounting location is 

fixed, stable and can 

support the weight of 

the fixture.

Tripod Mount

 – Screw the adapter into the base of 

the light fixture, ensure the mount is tightly fitted, 

before fitting to the tripod ensure the tripod is 

securely located as described in section 1.3.

Eye Bolt

 – Screw the Eye Bolt into the base of the 

light fixture ensuring the Eye Bolt is fully 

tightened, ensure the intended mounting 

location is fixed, stable and can support the 

weight of the fixture.

Light Power and Operation

 - The light is powered 

on/off by plugging or unplugging the light into a 

standard US 120v NEMA 5-15 3 pin socket.

Also included are a Light carry case, AAA 

Batteries for RC and safety cable to anchor to an 

adjacent infrastructure fitting when hanging, the 

6ft Tripod is available separately.

Always use Safety Cable when hanging or mounting 
the Light with C-Clamp and Eye Bolt accessories.

2.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The LED Light kit consists of: 

   the RED limit line this could cause the 

   tripod to be unstable and cause damage or 

   injury, securely tighten the locking knob, 

   repeat for the second section.
• To Retract the tripod, grip the section to be 

   retracted, hold it firmly whilst loosening the 

   locking knob, keep a firm grip otherwise 

   the section will drop rapidly, a pinch point  

   may occur that could cause hand injury.
• Once the section is retracted tighten the    

   locking knob repeat for the second section.
• To fold and store, if the light is fitted, power 

   off the light fixture and unplug, remove the 

   light fixture and aside.
