Introduction
The DIGITUS Gigabit PoE Splitter delivers data and power via a single
network cable to devices that do support Power over Ethernet. To
deliver power and data, simply connect the input side of the splitter to a
PoE switch or a PoE injector and the output side to a non-PoE
compatible network device such as an access point, IP phone or IP
camera. The splitter is powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet), therefore,
you do not need an additional power supply unit and can use the device
even where there are no power lines or power outlets. The output
voltage is 12V and is provided via a terminal block. The splitter requires
no configuration and thus guarantees a fast and seamless integration
into your network.
