Installing the DIGITAL MultiSwitch Hub 624T 10BaseT
Expansion Port Group (DLXR1)
Introduction
The DIGITAL MultiSwitch Hub 624T 10BaseT Expansion Port Group inserts into the expansion slot in the front
of the DIGITAL MultiSwitch Hub 624T. The 10BaseT Expansion Port Group provides the module with 12
additional 10BaseT, 8-pin MJ port connectors. This converts the module from 24 ports with two internal port
groups (groups A and B) to 36 ports with three internal port groups (groups A, B, and C). When installed, the
10BaseT Expansion Port Group operates as port group C. It operates only in the DIGITAL MultiSwitch Hub 624T.
Installation Procedure
Before you install the 10BaseT Expansion Port Group, make sure that the module has no power connected to it.
The 10BaseT Expansion Port Group is not hot-swappable. To install the 10BaseT Expansion Port Group, complete
the following steps. A Phillips-head screwdriver is required.

Make sure that power to the DIGITAL MultiSwitch Hub 624T is off by removing the module from the
DIGITAL MultiSwitch 600 System or DEChub 900 MultiSwitch.

Loosen the four screws and remove the cover from the DIGITAL MultiSwitch Hub 624T expansion slot.
