Instructions for use
Batteries
4. Switch the vacuum
cleaner on by sliding
the power switch to
the side.
1. Press in the catch on
the cover over the battery
compartment and
remove it.
2. Insert 2 × AA/LR6 batteries
(sold separately).
Refer to the markings in
the battery compartment
to ensure correct polarity.
Never mix old and new
batteries. Never mix
rechargeable and non-
rechargeable batteries.
3. Replace the battery
compartment cover.
Warning:
Do
not
stick any
fingers or other objects into
the air intake on the bottom
of the vacuum cleaner when
it is switched on.
Care and maintenance
• The exterior of the vacuum cleaner can be cleaned using
a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents
or corrosive chemicals.
• Whenever the vacuum cleaner is not to be used for
an extended period, the batteries should be removed and
it should be stored in a dry, dust-free environment, out of
children’s reach.
Emptying the dust collector
1. Twist the dust collector
anticlockwise and
remove it from
the vacuum cleaner.
