Selection and Requirements - All Apex72 Models

Rating Label Reset Button

All models require an electronic wall thermostat (not 

included).
Use ACCA Manual J (Residential load calculation) or local 

codes for determining heater wattage.
Follow clearance minimums of 10 inches from ceiling, 6 

inches from adjacent surfaces, and 72 inches from floor. 
Maximum distance from bottom of wall can to floor is 90 

inches for ceilings 9 feet and higher.
For ceilings greater than 9 feet, a ceiling fan with a cooling 

thermostat is recommended for optimum performance. 
Mount only in a horizontal position, oriented only as shown 

below.
