1. Open the top cover.  
2. Place the media roll (4) onto the media spindle (3). 
 
     ( For media rolls with cores larger than 1-1/2" (40 mm), use the two 
       core adapters (2) provided ) 
 
3. Slide the two media roll guides (1) onto the media spindle, with the 
    smooth sides facing the media roll.
