Inspection Status 

During the inspection period, the LED lights periodically flash to indicate the time remaining before an inspection 

is due.
 

• Dark green LED – beginning of inspection period, LED flashes every 2 minutes

 

• Light green LED – early in inspection period, LED flashes every 2 minutes

 

• Yellow (amber) LED – nearing end of inspection period, LED flashes every 10 seconds

 

• Red LED – inspection period has passed, LED flashes every 2 seconds

To manually check the time remaining before your next inspection:
1.  Press and hold 

?

  for 2 seconds.

2.  LED for remaining time flashes for 5 seconds.
When the Red LED flashes, carry out your inspection and reset the timer (see Activation / Reset Timer). The red 

LED flashes for 7 days. After 7 days, the device enters sleep mode to conserve battery life.

Battery Status 

When the battery power is critically low, 

 flashes red.

To manually check the battery status:
1. Press and hold

 for 2 seconds.

2. LED light turns on to indicate the remaining battery life.

Replace Batteries

The device is powered by (3) AAA Batteries. To replace the batteries:
1.  Turn front face counter-clockwise to remove it from  

back plate.

2. Remove old batteries.
3.  To maintain the countdown time, install new batteries 

within 45 seconds of removing the old batteries. 

4.  Place the front face on the back plate and turn  

clockwise to complete battery replacement.

5.   Press 

?

 to re-enable power to the device. Check  

calendar to ensure power has been restored.

6.  If no light flashes, press and hold 

?

?

 until all LEDs flash.

7. Timer resumes the current time countdown.

Attach Timer by using:
•  Cable tie (up to .30” width)
•  #6 screw (3.5 mm)
•  Adhesive backing
•  Hook and loop
•  Magnet

Lockout devices:
•  Padlock
•  Security seal
