Discover the new BaByliss Hairdryer. Featuring
a unique new design, it ensures a wide band
of airflow for faster, easier styling. It is powerful
yet comfortable to use thanks to its user
friendly handle and its reduced noise output. It
is equipped with 2 heat/speed settings and 1
cool button located on the external side of the
grip; thus it is able to meet everyone’s needs.
Instructions for use
The hairdryer is one of the most versatile
hairdressing tools, enabling you to create a
wide variety of effects, besides simple, fast
drying.
This hairdryer gives a wide band of airflow.
You can thus direct the air all along the brush
while you style, ensuring a perfect look. For
additional control use the lower setting and
point the airflow along the surface of the hair
to be dried.
- The high setting (II) produces a fast airflow
ideal for quick drying.
- For styling and scrunch drying, use the low
setting (I).
To prevent over drying, use the setting II to
start the drying process on very wet hair, but
reduce to setting I as hair dries.
Additionally, the cool setting provides one
more possibility. Use of cool air on hair, which
is already warm, has the effect of setting the
wave or curl for really long-lasting effects.
Use of the Nozzle
The Nozzle with its extra focussed airflow
gives ultra smooth, straight styling, even on
long hair.
· First rough dry the hair using the dryer
without the nozzle.
· Then use the Nozzle towards the end of
drying to finish the look.
· With the nozzle in place, direct the air so
that it just skims the surface of the hair. This
will draw off the remaining moisture and leave
your hair beautifully smooth and shiny with
that polished look that the hairdresser gets!
SAFETY CAUTIONS :
• Do not immerse into water or other
liquids. Do not use near basins or other
vessels containing water.
• Unplug the hairdryer after use since the
proximity of water can be dangerous even if
it is switched off (U.K. only: hand held hairdryers
must not be used in bathrooms). For additional
protection the installation of a residual current
device (RCD) with a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in
the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom.
Ask your installer for advice.
• The hairdryer is equipped with a safety
thermostat. In case of overheating, it stops
automatically. In the event of this happening
turn the dryer off, unplug from the mains
and allow to cool for 10 – 15 minutes before
using again. Ensure that the rear air vents
are clear of hair and other debris. Then plug
in and turn on the hairdryer again. If it
continues to overheat (e.g. element glows
red) turn off, unplug from the mains and
contact the Conair Customer Service line
on 0870 5 133191.
• Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used on or near children or some
disabled people. Store out of children’s reach.
• IMPORTANT! Always unplug the appliance
when not in use or before cleaning. Do not
leave unattended when switched on. Do not
place on any heat sensitive surface and
always allow to cool before storing away.
• After use do not wrap the cord around the
appliance. Coil lead loosely by the side of
the appliance in storage.
• Take care to avoid contact between the hot
surfaces of the appliance and the skin
paying particular attention to the face, neck
and hands.
• Always ensure the voltage to be used
corresponds to the voltage marked on the unit.
• Do not use any other attachments than
those supplied with this product.
• Do not use the appliance if the cord is
damaged. In the event of damage discontinue
use immediately. If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
its service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
• Return the appliance to the Conair Service
Centre for examination, electrical or
mechanical adjustment or repair. No repair
should be attempted by the consumer.

UK WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
BLUE = NEUTRAL
BROWN = LIVE
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead
of this appliance may not correspond with the
colour markings identifying the terminals on
your plug proceed as follows:
• The wire which is coloured BLUE must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured black.
• The wire which is coloured BROWN must
be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured red.
• Neither core should be connected to the
earth terminal of a three pin plug marked
with the letter E or or is coloured green
or green and yellow.
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used
a 13 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other
type of plug is used a 10 amp fuse must be
fitted either in the plug or at the distribution
board.

Conseils d’utilisation
Le sèche-cheveux est un outil de
coiffure qui offre beaucoup de
possibilités, pour créer des styles de
coiffure très variés.
Cet appareil procure un flux d’air
large. Cela permet de diriger l’air sur
toute la longueur d’une brosse au
moment du brushing, pour un style
parfait. Pour encore plus de précision,
utiliser la vitesse I et tenir l’appareil
près de la surface des cheveux.
- La vitesse supérieure (II) permet
d’obtenir un flux d’air très rapide
idéal pour un séchage rapide des
cheveux.
- Pour mettre en forme et boucler les
cheveux, utiliser la vitesse inférieure (I).
Pour éviter toute surchauffe, utiliser
la température la plus élevée pour
commencer à sécher les cheveux
mouillés, puis réduire au fur et à
mesure du séchage.
Le bouton air frais permet de fixer la
coiffure pour un effet longue durée.
Utilisation du concentrateur:
Le concentrateur, grâce à son flux
d’air plus rapide et plus doux, permet
de créer une coiffure lisse et douce,
même sur de longs cheveux.
- Séchez grossièrement les cheveux
sans le concentrateur.
- Utilisez le concentrateur pour parfaire
la coiffure.
- Avec le concentrateur, dirigez le flux
d’air de manière à ce qu’il glisse sur la
surface de la chevelure. L’humidité
est évacuée. Les cheveux sont doux
et brillants.
CONSEILS DE SÉCURITÉ
• Ne pas immerger dans l’eau ou
tout autre liquide. Ne pas utiliser
au-dessus ou à proximité de la
baignoire, de lavabos ou autres
récipients contenant de l’eau.
• Lorsque l’appareil est utilisé dans
une salle de bains, le débrancher
après usage car la proximité de
l’eau peut présenter un danger
même lorsque l’appareil est
arrêté. Pour assurer une protection
supplémentaire, l’installation, dans
le circuit électrique alimentant la
salle de bains, d’un dispositif à

• Ranger l’appareil hors de portée

Hinweise zum Gebrauch
Der Haarfön ist ein Frisierinstrument,

die unterschiedlichsten Stylingideen zu
verwirklichen.
Dieses Gerät erzeugt einen breiten
Luftstrom, wodurch die Luft zum Brushing
über die gesamte Länge einer Bürste
geleitet werden kann, um zu einem
perfekten Resultat zu gelangen.
Für größere Genauigkeit die
Geschwindigkeitsstufe I einschalten und
das Gerät dicht an die Haaroberfläche
bringen.
- Die höhere Geschwindigkeitsstufe (II)
erzeugt einen sehr starken Luftstrom,
ideal zum schnellen Trocknen des
Haars.
- Zur Formgebung und zum Wellen
des Haars die niedrigere
Geschwindigkeitsstufe (I) benutzen.
Um jede Überhitzung zu vermeiden,
die höhere Stufe zum Vortrocknen
von nassem Haar verwenden und im
Laufe des Trockenvorgangs reduzieren.
Mit dem Frischluftknopf kann die Frisur
fixiert werden und hält länger.
Gebrauch der Frisierdüse
Mit der Frisierdüse können dank dem
schnelleren und sanfteren Luftstrom glatte
und weich fallende Frisuren geschaffen
werden, selbst bei langem Haar.
- Trocknen Sie zuerst das Haar ohne
Frisieraufsatz vor.
- Benutzen Sie die Frisierdüse, um die
Frisur zu perfektionieren.

Gebruikstips
De haardroger is een kapperswerktuig
dat veel mogelijkheden biedt om heel
uiteenlopende haarstijlen te creëren.
Dit apparaat produceert een brede
luchtstroom. Dit maakt het mogelijk de
lucht over de volledige lengte van een
borstel te leiden op het moment van de
brushing, voor een perfecte haarstijl.
Voor een nog grotere precisie snelheid
I gebruiken en het apparaat in de buurt
van het haaroppervlak houden.
- De hogere snelheid (II) levert een heel
snelle luchtstroom op die ideaal is voor
een snelle droging van het haar.
- Om de haren in vorm te brengen en te
krullen, de lagere snelheid (I) gebruiken.
Om elke oververhitting te vermijden, de
hoogste temperatuur gebruiken om
vochtig haar te beginnen drogen en dan
verlagen naargelang het haar droger
wordt.
De frisseluchtknop dient om het kapsel te
fixeren en langdurig in vorm te houden.
Gebruik van de concentrator
De concentrator maakt het dank zij haar
snellere en zachtere luchtstroom
mogelijk om een glad en zacht kapsel
te creëren, zelfs bij lang haar.

Droog het haar grofweg zonder
blaasmond.
- Gebruik de concentrator om het
kapsel af te werken.
- Richt de luchtstroom met behulp van
de concentrator zodanig dat deze
over het oppervlak van de haardos
glijdt. De vochtigheid wordt afgevoerd,
de haren worden zacht en glanzend.
VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
• Niet onderdompelen in water of enig
andere vloeistof. Gebruik het apparaat
niet in de buurt van het bad, wastafels
of andere met water gevulde voorwerpen.
• Indien u de haardroger in een badkamer
gebruikt, neem dan na gebruik de
stekker uit het stopcontact. De nabijheid
van water kan immers gevaarlijk zijn,
zelfs wanneer de haardroger is
uitgeschakeld. Voor extra bescherming
verdient het aanbeveling om een
voorziening voor residuele aardlekstroom
te installeren, waarvan de nominale
werkingswaarde de 30 mA niet
overschrijdt. Uw installateur kan u
hierin adviseren.
• Vermijd contact tussen het warme
oppervlak van het apparaat en de
huid van gelaat en nek.
• Wanneer het apparaat gebruikt wordt
in de nabijheid van kinderen, dient u
zich bijzonder waakzaam te houden.
Berg het apparaat op buiten het
bereik van kinderen.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet met een
beschadigd snoer. Mocht het snoer
toch beschadigd raken, zet het
gebruik van het apparaat dan
onmiddellijk stop. Het snoer dient te
worden vervangen door de fabrikant,
teneinde het risico voor de gebruiker te
vermijden. Stuur het apparaat terug naar
het dichtsbijzijnde reparatiecentrum. De
gebruiker mag geen enkele reparatie
zelf uitvoeren.
• Het apparaat binnenbrengen bij de
dichtsbijgelegen hersteldienst voor
inspectie, regelingen, elektrische of
mechanische herstelling. Geen enkele
herstelling mag door de gebruiker zelf
worden uitgevoerd.
• Laat geen enkel voorwerp vallen of in
de openingen komen.

in grado di soddisfare le esigenze di
tutti.
Utilizzo
Questo asciugacapelli è uno strumento
d'acconciatura che offre molte possibilità
per creare stili diversi e fantasiosi.
L'apparecchio produce un flusso d'aria
ampio. Questo permette di dirigere l'aria
su tutta la lunghezza della spazzola al
momento della messa in piega, per
ottenere uno stile perfetto.
Per una maggiore precisione, utilizzare
la velocità I e tenere l’apparecchio vicino
alla superficie dei capelli.
- La velocità superiore (II) permette di
ottenere un flusso d'aria molto rapido,
ideale per asciugare velocemente i
vostri capelli.
- Per dar forma ed arricciare i vostri
capelli, utilizzare la velocità inferiore (I).
Onde evitare eventuali surriscaldamenti,
utilizzare la temperatura superiore per
cominciare ad asciugare capelli molto
bagnati, per poi ridurla progressivamente
mentre i capelli si asciugano.
Il pulsante aria fresca permette di fissare
l'acconciatura per un effetto di lunga
durata.
Uso del concentratore
Il concentratore, grazie al flusso d'aria
più rapido e più dolce al tempo stesso,
permette di creare un'acconciatura liscia
e vellutata, anche sui capelli lunghi.
- Dare una prima asciugata ai capelli
senza utilizzare la bocchetta.
- Utilizzare il concentratore per
perfezionare l'acconciatura.
- Con l'apposita bocchetta, dirigere il
flusso in modo da farlo scivolare sulla
superficie della capigliatura. Viene
così eliminata l'umidità ed i capelli
restano vellutati e brillanti.
CONSIGLI DI SICUREZZA
• Non immergere l'apparecchio nell'acqua
o in qualsiasi altro liquido. Non utilizzarlo
sopra o vicino alla vasca da bagno, a
lavandini o a qualsiasi altro recipiente
contenente acqua.
• Quando l’asciugacapelli è utilizzato in
bagno, disinserirlo dopo l’uso, poiché la
vicinanza dell’acqua può costituire un
rischio anche quando qualsiasi
apparecchio elettrico è spento. Per
garantire una protezione aggiuntiva, si
consiglia di installare, nel circuito elettrico
che alimenta il bagno, un dispositivo per
corrente differenziale residua (CDR) di
un’intensità operativa differenziale
determinata che non ecceda 30 mA.
Rivolgersi, per consigli, al proprio
elettricista.
• Evitare il contatto tra la superficie calda
del apparecchio e il viso o il collo.
• Essere particolarmente vigili quando
si utilizza l'apparecchio vicino a bambini
o portatori di handicap. Riporre
l'apparecchio fuori della portata dei
bambini.
• Disinserire l'apparecchio dopo l’utilizzo e
prima di pulirlo. Evitare il contatto tra il
cavo di alimentazione e le superfici
calde. Lasciar raffreddare l'apparecchio
prima di riporlo.
• Interrompere immediatamente l'utilizzo
del apparecchio qualora il filo sia
danneggiato. Il cavo deve essere
sostituito in un Centro riparazioni
autorizzato al fine di evitare qualsiasi
rischio per l'utente.
• Riportare l'apparecchio presso il
Centro riparazioni più vicino per ogni
regolazione, riparazione elettrica.
Nessuna riparazione può essere
effettuata dall'utente.

de cabellos tiene 2 niveles de velocidad y
temperatura y tiene una tecla de aire
fresco en la cara externa del mango, lo

Consejos de utilización
Este secador es un instrumento de
peluquería con muchas posibilidades
para crear una gran variedad de estilos
de peinado.
Tiene un chorro de aire muy grande, lo
que permite dirigirlo a todo lo largo de
un cepillo durante el brushing, para
obtener un estilo perfecto.
Para alcanzar un máximo de precisión,
utilice la velocidad I y ponga el aparato
cerca de la superficie de los cabellos.
- La velocidad superior (II) permite un
flujo de aire muy rápido, ideal para un
secado rápido de los cabellos.
- Para dar forma y rizar los cabellos,
utilice la velocidad inferior (I). Para
que el aparato no se recaliente, utilice
la temperatura más alta para el secado.
El botón del aire fresco permite fijar el
peinado para que dure mucho.
Utilización del concentrador
El concentrador, gracias a su chorro de
aire más rápido y más suave, permite
crear un peinado liso y suave, aun con
cabellos largos.
- Le aconsejamos que seque primero
los cabellos sin el concentrador.
- Y que luego utilice el concentrador
para perfeccionar el peinado.
- Dirija el chorro de aire del concentrador
de modo que se deslice por la superficie
de los cabellos. Así se elimina la
humedad y los cabellos se quedan
suaves y brillantes.
MEDIDAS DE SEGURIDAD
• No sumergir en agua u otros líquidos.
No utilizar encima de la bañera o en las
cercanías de ésta, de lavamanos u otros
recipientes que contengan agua.
• Desconecte el secador de pelo después
de utilizarlo en el cuarto de baño.
Puede constituir un peligro dejarlo
cerca de posibles contactos con el
agua aún cuando el aparato no esté
funcionando. A fin de contar con un
sistema de protección suplementaria, se
aconseja la instalación de un dispositivo
de corriente diferencial residual
(DDR), que funciona a base de corriente
diferencial y que no exceda los 30 mA.
Solicite un consejo a su instalador.
• Evite cualquier contacto entre la superficie
caliente del aparato y la piel.
• Tenga especial cuidado cuando el
aparato sea utilizado por niños o cerca
de niños o de minusválidos. Guardelo
fuera del alcance de los niños.
