TYPE OF MEASURING

ALTERNATE VOLTAGE MEASURING

• Range 0-500 V~ (minimum 20V~ );
• Peak factor:1.43;
• Frequency range:50-65 Hz.

ALTERNATE CURRENT MEASURING

• Range 0-5 A~ (minimum 0,3 A~ )with the

possibility of an external TA with a maxi-
mum ratio of 400 (1.999 A~ );

• Peak factor:2;
• Frequency range:50-65 Hz.

FREQUENCY MEASURING

• Range 0-500 Hz (minimo 35 Hz).

NOTE: In normal mode it is shown the
measure the instrument use as main mea-
sure. If the instrument measures a value
out of the corresponding range, label
“Orn” will appear on display.

USER INTERFACE

The user has a display, a led and
four keys for controlling the instrument
status and programming.
At start-up the instrument performs a
Lamp-test; during this time all the
segments in the display and all leds are on,
in order to verify their integrity and
correct operation.
The instrument also has two main menus:
the “Machine Status”
and “Programming” menu.

the menu items
Displays Max and Min* values

DOWN key

* “UP” key allows to view the minimum
and maximum values registered by the
instrument since last start-up (see UP key-
Displaying Max and Min values).

** “hand” key allows:
-to display “tAr” value (ammetric
transformer);
- change this value by pressing the key
during the Lamp-test (see Changing
ammetric TRS).

UP key-
Displaying Max and Min

Operation with standard display (the
instrument displays the selected quantity).
In order to view maximum and minimum
values registered by the instrument for the
considered quantity (current/voltage/fre-
quency), press the “UP” key for more than
5 seconds. The “Lo” label (minimum value
registered) will appear. By pressing the
“UP” or “DOWN” key the “Hi ” label (maxi-
mum value registered). To read its value,
press the “set” key. By pressing the “set”
key again for more than 5 seconds the
measuring performed by the instrument is
updated, while the old value is erased. To
return to the “Lo” label (“Hi”), press the
“hand” key.

“hand” key-Changing ammetric TRS

Switch the instrument on and hold the
“hand” key until the tAr label appears on
the display. To display the value, press the
“set” key. At this point it is possible to
change the TRS value by pressing the
“UP” and “DOWN” keys. To confirm the
set value, press the “set ” key or “hand”
key.

NOTE: TRS can be modified by the
“hand” key only at the instrument
start-up.

It is still possible to display the “tAr” label
by pressing the “hand” key for more than
5 seconds. If you press the “set” key the
label value can be displayed but cannot
be changed.

LED AND DECIMAL POINT

Led L1 indicates when the instrument is
in the programming phase (always ON).
The decimal point operation is
dynamic: the measure is displayed
with a decimal point up to
199.9 V/A/Hz. Starting from 200 V/A/Hz
the view is displayed without decimal
point.

ACCESSING AND USING MENUS

The instrument resources are arranged in a
menu, which can be accessed by pressing
and quickly releasing the “set” key
(“Machine Status” menu) or by holding
down the “set” key for more than 5 sec-
onds (“Programming” menu).
To access the contents of each folder, indi-
cated by the relevant label, just press the
“set” key once.
You can now scroll through the contents
of each folder, modify it or use its func-
tions. If you do not use the keyboard for
over 15 seconds (time-out) or if you press
the “hand” key once, the last value shown
on the display is confirmed and you return
to the previous screen mask.

MACHINE STATUS MENU

To access the “Machine Status” menu press
and quickly release the “set” key. The first
label of the measure to set appears. To
scroll through the other labels, press the
“UP ”and “DOWN ” keys.
This menu displays the labels of
the measuring that the instrument
is performing:
• “Cur”: the value of the currente mea-

sured

• “Uol”: the value of the voltage mea-

sured

• “FrE”: the value of the frequency mea-

sured

By pressing and quickly releasing the “set ”
key of the label, the current value of the
measurement associated to it is displayed.
To set the measure the instrument will use
as main measure, hold down for few sec-
onds the “set” key relative to the value
displayed until the corresponding label
appears again.
To return to the main screen mask, press
