MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE WASHING MACHINE

USING THE APPLIANCE

WASHING MACHINE OPERATION

(follow these instructions and the washing machine will run the selected wash cycle)

Load the washing machine, add the detergent and softener (see "Detergent drawer") using

the manufacturer's recommended doses reported on the packet. Check that the machine
is plugged into the mains socket, that the door is closed, the water feed valve is open and
that the ON/OFF button is pressed.

Rotate the programmer knob to select the required program and temperature according to

the type of fabric to wash (see program table).

Rotate the timer knob to set the required drying time.
When setting the drying time, the "drying" led will stay lit until the "Start" button is pressed,

at which time it switches off and the machine starts the wash cycle.

The figure alongside shows the main functions of a wash cycle:
WASH, RINSES, SPIN, END.
During the cycle, each of these functions is highlighted by a led informing the user what

the washing machine is doing at that moment. After the spin phase, the corresponding led
will stay lit for approximately 2 minutes; this is the time lapse necessary before the door
can be opened. At this point the "END" led will light up.

The DRY function led lights up while the drying time is being set and flashes during the final

ten minutes (cooling) of the drying phase..
