ACT Notifier (pro only)
The ACTWin pro software can now send notification,
via e-mail or SMS, to any number of authorised users
on the occurrence of any event. The Security Guard
could receive a text when a door is opened outside of
office hours and the Finance Manager could receive
an e-mail each time the cash room is accessed. It is
also possible to track the movements of an individual,
in real time, thorough e-mails or SMS messages.
GMT Time Zones
Controllers located in different time zones to each
other and to the PC will now report events to the
software in their own local time. All the events of a
company with controllers in Dublin and Frankfurt and
the main server in Barcelona will now be reported in
their own local time i.e. GMT or GMT +1
Exit Granted
With ACTWin 2.6 the main relay at each entry point can be configured to activate when
entry is granted using the “Access only” option and the Aux Relay can be configured to
activate when an exit is grated using the “Exit Granted” option. In a turnstile operation
it eliminates the need for two door stations to be installed, one at the entry and one at
the exit point, as entry and exit can now be managed by the 2 relays contained on one
door station.
T & A Terminal Operation (pro only)
The ACTWin pro 2.6 allows you to configure the controller to be used as a Time &
Attendance terminal or to use dedicated entry &exit readers.
Programmable Mains Input and Tamper
With the ACTWin 2.6 software it is now possible to deactivate monitoring of the “Mains
fault”, “Door Tamper” and “Door Contact” for each door without having to rewire the
installation.
I / O Module – area full
The ACTWin software now allows for an output to be fired on the Input / Output Module
when an area is full (the system allows for up to 8 different areas). A typical use of
this feature would be a car park with a “Full” sign being activated when all spaces are
occupied.
