Use a telephone wire to connect the P-870M-I
DSL
port to
the
DSL
(or
MODEM
) port on a splitter. If you do not have
a splitter, connect the
DSL
port directly to the telephone
jack.

Use an Ethernet cable to connect the P-870M-I
ETHERNET
port to the computer.

Use the included power adaptor to connect the P-870M-I
POWER
socket to an appropriate power source.

After you’ve made these connections, push in the power
button.
If the
POWER
,
ETHERNET
, and
VDSL
lights are on (or
blinking), you have set up the P-870M-I correctly. Test your
Internet connection by visiting
http://www.zyxel.com
(or
another web site).
If the lights behave differently or if you cannot connect to the
Web site, make sure the connections are correct. If the lights
are still different, turn off the device, wait a few seconds, and
turn it on again. If the problem continues, contact your local
vendor.
