Driver and Utility Software Maintenance
The physical link over ADSL line is essential before you make a connection to the ISP or corporate
networks. If your ADSL connection fails, contact your ISP for troubleshooting.
7.2 DSL Modem Utility Control Panel
The DSL Modem Control Panel displays information about your status and performance of your Prestige
and allows you to connect or disconnect your ADSL connection. Use one of the following to access the
control panel:

The control panel window displays.
7.2.1 Physical Link
The
Physical Link
tab displays your ADSL connection state and the modulation type. Data rate indicates
the maximum transmission and receiving rates in kbps (kilobits per second) on the ADSL line. The green
indicator under
Link Status
turns on when a connection has been made. This indicator blinks when a
connection is being established. The two
Data Activity
indicators flash yellow when there is data
transmission.
