You must first create a priority profile name using the
priority-profile
<name>
command.
The following figure shows an example.
• Create a new priority profile called
normal
.
• Enable the priority profile.
• Configure a layer 2 classifier rule with a rule index of 1 to group packets based on the
Ethernet type.
• Apply the rule to the downstream AppleTalk traffic.
• Send the matched traffic to queue 3.
• Set the VLAN priority to 7 (highest).
20.11 onu Commands
This section shows you how to configure an ONU service profile and apply it to an ONU.
Syntax:
onu <name> <port-list>
onu <name> <port-list> classification-profile <profile-name>
onu <name> <port-list> epon-profile <profile-name>
onu <name> <port-list> onu-mac <mac-addr>
onu <name> <port-list> priority-profile <profile-name>
onu <name> <port-list> vlan-profile <profile-name>

<name> <port-list>
= Creates a new ONU profile for the specified port(s).
classification-profile
<profile-name>
= Specifies a classification profile. If you do not specify a
classification profile, the default profile applies.
epon-profile <profile-
name>
= Specifies an EPON profile for this ONU profile. If you
do not specify an EPON profile, the default profile
applies.
onu-mac <mac-addr>
= Specifies the MAC address of an ONU to which this
profile is applied. Make sure the ONU is connected to the
specified port.
