MON Profile
9.1 Overview
This screen allows you to set up monitor mode configurations that allow your NWA to scan for other
wireless devices in the vicinity. Once detected, you can use the
Wireless > MON Mode screen
( Section 6.3 on page 57 ) to classify them as either rogue or friendly.
Not all NWAs support monitor mode and rogue APs detection.
9.1.1 What You Can Do in this Chapter
The MON Profile screen ( Section 9.2 on page 91 ) creates preset monitor mode configurations that
can be used by the NWA.
9.2 MON Profile
This screen allows you to create monitor mode configurations that can be used by the APs. To
access this screen, login to the Web Configurator, and click
Configuration > Object > MON
Profile .
