6.8 The DDNS Status Screen
The
DDNS Status
screen shows the status of the Zyxel Device’s DDNS domain names. Click
Monitor >
System Status > DDNS Status
to open the following screen.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.
6.9 IP/MAC Binding
Click
Monitor > System Status >
IP/MAC Binding
to open the
IP/MAC Binding
screen. This screen lists the
devices that have received an IP address from Zyxel Device interfaces with IP/MAC binding enabled
and have ever established a session with the Zyxel Device. Devices that have never established a
session with the Zyxel Device do not display in the list.

DESCRIPTION
Update
Click this to have the Zyxel Device update the profile to the DDNS server. The Zyxel
Device attempts to resolve the IP address for the domain name.

This field is a sequential value, and it is not associated with a specific DDNS server.
Profile Name
This field displays the descriptive profile name for this entry.
Domain Name
This field displays each domain name the Zyxel Device can route.
Effective IP
This is the (resolved) IP address of the domain name.
Last Update
This shows whether the last attempt to resolve the IP address for the domain name was
successful or not.
Updating
means the Zyxel Device is currently attempting to resolve the
IP address for the domain name.
Last Update Time
This shows when the last attempt to resolve the IP address for the domain name
occurred (in year-month-day hour:minute:second format).
Refresh
Click this button to update the information in the screen.
